What has been your experience in Bloomington?

“In the beginning, the people here showed a lot of mistrust as if they didn’t like us, but later when they get to know us, they treat us well, but in the beginning when people don’t know us there is a little rejection.”

We are not so different than others in the United States

“Mexicans are like the Americans, there are good Mexicans and also some bad ones just like there are good Americans and bad Americans…we came to this country to work and I don’t think that working is a bad thing, we work hard and many times the jobs are difficult and tiring.”
